Webinar Description:

Research estimates that nearly 70% of people will experience imposter syndrome— the idea that you’ve only succeeded due to luck and not because of your talent, hard work, or qualifications— at least once in their lifetime. Led by Emily Malkowski, a digital marketing strategist and freelance writer, this workshop will discuss the realities of imposter syndrome and its negative implications on mental health, productivity, and professional development. Whether you own your own business or work a traditional 9-5, you’ll leave this workshop feeling empowered, with new tools to help identify and overcome your own “imposter mentality” habits whenever they arise.

About the Presenter:

Emily is a marketer, freelance writer, and SEO strategist based in Buffalo, New York. She works full-time as a Content Specialist at Brady Corporation, offers freelance SEO services to small businesses in the Western New York area, and writes about travel, arts, culture, digital marketing, and all things Buffalo for a number of local and national publications. Emily’s writing can be seen in The American Prospect, Dictionary.com, Roadtrippers Magazine, LongWeekends Magazine, Step Out Buffalo, Step Out Buffalo Business, and more.
