MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The Association for Talent Development, Buffalo Niagara Chapter, is an independent, nonprofit organization that is affiliated with ATD National. Our chapter represents many different industries including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, banking, insurance, sales & marketing, education, not-for-profits, as well as independent consultants, and students. This mix affords many opportunities for our members to network and collaborate on a variety of different projects. 

Our mission for programming is to provide educational and development opportunities for our members and the greater community. 

Our chapter engages in networking opportunities through discussion group events and happy hours and plans monthly webinars and workshops, bringing in local and national speakers to present on a variety of topics of interest Talent Development professionals. These meetings provide opportunities to share ideas, solve problems and explore partnering in learning and performance improvement opportunities through networking with other members and guests.

In addition to educational events, members have access to additional resources, including a Mentorship program called MentorNow.

What Our Colleagues Think About Power Membership

For many years I was a member of our local ATD chapter. I never saw a reason to join the national organization. During the years I served on the board, I was required to be a Power Member. Now that I’m no longer on the board I’ve continued my Power Membership because it provides so much value.
