About ATD Buffalo Niagara
The Buffalo Niagara Chapter is an independent, nonprofit organization that is affiliated with ATD. Our chapter represents many different industries including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, banking, insurance, sales & marketing, education, not-for-profits, as well as independent consultants, and students. This mix affords many opportunities for our members to network and collaborate on a variety of different projects. A good number of our members are also ATD members.
Our mission for programming is to expand our markets and grow our membership. We believe that anyone who is responsible for giving presentations and/or teaching and leading others can benefit from our programs regardless of their actual title. We’d like to invite you to join us at one or more of our upcoming program events and to contact us for more information about our chapter.
Our chapter meets approximately 10 times a year typically on the second Thursday or Friday of every month from September through June. These meetings include local and national speakers that have been invited to present on a variety of topics of interest to the learning and development profession. These meetings are usually breakfast meetings and afford those attending an opportunity to share ideas, solve problems and explore partnering in learning and performance improvement opportunities through networking with other members and guests.
