Webinar Description:

Talent development professionals are increasingly asked to use and provide data to other business stakeholders. Business leaders want to see the ROI of their organizations’ talent development efforts. Learning analytics is a way to assess the effectiveness of individual training programs and organizational curricula. While many talent development professionals are seasoned designers of learning they may not be as confident in their ability to use data to evaluate their programs. This session is designed as an introduction to some basic statistical analyses in Excel.

During this session, participants will:

-Understand the importance of data collection processes

-Learn some common statistics used in learning analytics

-Practice using Microsoft Excel to analyze some basic datasets for descriptive statistics, correlations, and t-tests.
